So Far So Good

Everything looks good here. Went to the Doctor's on Monday....we could finally hear a heartbeat at 16 weeks and 3 days...geesh, stubborn little thing. Doc said that it was a strong and healthy heartbeat. We are scheduled for another doctor's visit May 18th and then we are going to schedule the "big" ultrasound, which allows us to see if it is a girl or boy. We would be happy with a healthy baby, but I am not going to lie....I secretly want a girl!

News on Main and his desire to become a cop. Well, after many tests (written test, physical test, interview with some of the biggies, a crazy test, a whole bunch of blood work, and finally the merit board test) Main has been hired on the Porter County Sheriff's Dept. He starts working there May 4th and then goes to the academy in August. AHHHHH, we are so relieved and excited that Main has finally been able to reach his goal!

Megan Marg (my little sister) is still over in Iraq. She will be there for a "couple of months", that is what she kept saying when she was home for her two week leave. Please!!! Army time that means 5-6 months. But she is doing well and staying out of trouble. She always shows us these pictures of big vehicles they allow her to drive....first of all are they freakin' crazy, have they looked at her driving record over here in the states....Just Joking, Megan ...if you read this!!!!
Come home safe and love you!

Landen is growing so much. It is like he goes to bed and wakes up a big boy. He is really doing well at his potty training. He likes standing up like a big boy like his daddy to go Pee Pee. He is just so funny! His little personality is showing through more and more. Poor kid has both of mine and Mains stubborness, so sometimes life is rough around the Hale house. Landen does attended daycare and loves it. He has so many friends that he talks about all the time. It is so neat to see the little ones becoming friends.

Well that is it for today! I will try to post new pics and such of the house, baby in the tummy and Landen.
